Betty Lawson, age 80, of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed away on October 12, 2024 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, TN and was placed into the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 2:00pm in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home, in Whitley City, KY, with Bro. Harold Long and Betty's nephew, Scott Neal officiating. The family received friends from 11:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00pm. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

Betty was born February 21, 1944 in Pine Knot, KY. She is the daughter of the late Jeff and Reba (Stephens) Anderson.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Lawson Pine Knot, KY, two brothers Glen Anderson Stearns, KY, Earl Anderson (Pearl) Pine Knot, KY, five sisters Thelma Wright (Fred) Stearns, KY, Wilma Neal (Cecil) Pine Knot, KY, Freda Bartley (Robert) Oak Ridge, TN, Kathryn Baker (Gerald) Whitley City, KY, infant sister Hazel Anderson Rock Creek, KY.

Betty is survived by her daughter Christy Midden (Jeff) Knoxville, TN, sister Raymondean Kelly (Kenneth) Somerset, KY, stepson Barry Singleton (Tanya) Parkers Lake, KY, sister-in-law Janie Stanley Knoxville, TN, several nieces and nephews and two very special cousins Jane McCoy Stearns, KY and Nannie Thackton Pine Knot, KY.
