Brenda Sue (Troxell) Jones age 64 years, 2 months, and 26 days of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 12:00 pm at the Hilltop Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Tapley and Bro. Bobby Eldridge officiating. Burial followed in the Alton Cemetery in Wayne Co., Kentucky. She was born April 8, 1951 in Hilltop, Kentucky to Clyde and Juanita (Benson) Troxell. Brenda was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and arguing with her grandkids. Preceding her in death are her parents; brothers, Dorman Troxell and Ronald Troxell; and a sister, Bonnie Troxell. Survivors include her husband, Haskell E. Jones of Stearns, Kentucky; a son, Haskell Daniel Jones and wife, Emma, of Pine Knot, Kentucky; daughters, Anita Eldridge and husband, Bobby, of Stearns, Kentucky and Bonnie Ross and husband, Wayne, of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brothers, Larry Troxell, of Stearns, Kentucky, Eddie Troxell and Bruce Troxell both of Amelia, Ohio, Rev. David Troxell of Stearns, Kentucky, Jeff Troxell of Harlan, Kentucky, and Dennis Troxell of Pine Knot, Kentucky; a sister, Kathy Strunk of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Aaron, Artist, Jimmy, Stephanie, Mosie; great grandchildren, Peyton and Makenna; a special adopted friend, Jason Harveson; 10 nieces, 11 nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers were Haskell E. Jones, Haskell Daniel Jones, Aaron Eldridge, Artist Jones, Jimmy Ross, Jason Harveson, Peyton Eldridge, and Mosie Jones. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mrs. Brenda Jones.
