Brittany Lyn Smiddy, age 36 years, 3 months, and 10 days, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 11, 2022, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

She was born July 30, 1986, in Somerset, Kentucky, to Mitchell Wilson Jr. and Lisa Winchester Waters. Brittany was a member of the David Hill Church of God. She enjoyed doing nails, reading, taking care of her family, and was a wonderful cook.

Preceding her in death was infant son, Ryan Franklin Smiddy.

Survivors include, husband, Jesse Smiddy, father, Mitchell Wilson Jr., and wife, Sarah, mother, Lisa Waters, and husband, Joey, son, Jesse Smiddy Jr., daughters, Taylor Smiddy, Addison Smiddy, and Railyn Smiddy, brothers, John Strunk, and wife, Sarah, and Dustin Wilson, sister, Stephanie Strunk, and husband, Jon, and step grandmother, Sharon Strunk.

Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Brittany Smiddy.
