Carlos Junior West, age 49 years, 9 months, and 28 days, of Pine Knot passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Big South Medical Center in Oneida.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. David Burton officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

Born on April 15, 1975, in Whitey City, he was the son of Carl West and Betty Lou Ross West. Carlos had a passion for country music and WWE, and he found joy in his hobbies, including raising game chickens and playing basketball. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family.

Carlos was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Betty Lou West; his brother, Jesse West; and his sister, Glenna Garner.

He is survived by his children: Jacob West and Cody West; his stepson, Bradley King; his brothers, Allen (Tonya) West and Terry West; his sister, Melinda (Thomas) Ridner; and his grandchildren: Andrew West, Hudson West, and Westyn West. Carlos also leaves behind his special niece, Jessica Garner, along with great-nephews Graison and Tyler Mitchell, and a great-niece on the way, Kya Creekmore.
