Geredia "Carol" Clark (nee Phillips), 73, was a resident of Oberlin, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday October 29, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was born June 2, 1951 in Oberlin, Ohio.

Carol made her home in Oberlin with her husband of 54 years. She was a graduate of Oberlin High School in 1969. She was a majorette in Oberlin High School marching band, where she met her highschool sweetheart, Kenny, who was on the football team.

Carol was a horse show mom and 4-H advisor. She loved sewing show clothes for her girls throughout their years in 4-H. She also enjoyed quilting, coloring and going to bingo with her friends. She loved spending time with her dogs Frankee, Gibson and Una and her Gypsy Vanner horse, Bella.

Survivors include her husband, Kenny Clark, of Oberlin, her daughters Leesa Clark (Johnson), of Wellington, Ohio, Jaynee Clark of Naples, Florida and Tamara Bailosky of Oberlin, Ohio; grandchildren Aleeya Johnson, Donald K. Johnson and Anthony Forthofer of Oberlin; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Maxine and France Phillips and her brother Christopher Phillips.

Carol's final resting home will be with them at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Stearns Kentucky, where a private family service will take place on Saturday November 2, 2024 at 11:00 am.
