Carolyn Sue Morgan, age 78 years, 2 months, and 13 days, of Stearns passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Somerset and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Stearns First Baptist Church with Bro. Hilton Duncan officiating. Burial followed in the Stearns Cemetery.

She was born February 24, 1945 in Stearns to Edgar Adams and Mable Crabtree Adams. Sue was well-known in the community as the office manager of the local Kentucky Utilities office for thirty nine years. She was a member of the Stearns First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for fifty four years. Sue volunteered much of her time to the community with organizations such as PTA, the American Cancer Society, and Integrated Community Ministries. In her spare time, she enjoyed flower gardening and watching UK sports.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Jimmy Adams, and a sister, Linda Gilreath.

Survivors include her husband and childhood sweetheart, James Morgan, whom she married on August 7, 1965, a daughter, Jamie Wuestefeld and her husband, Jake, grandchildren, Justin and Jayden Wuestefeld, and a brother, Ralph Adams and his wife, Diana.
