Cecil "Ike" Beckett Jr., age 70, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Signature Health and Rehab in Pine Knot, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Private graveside service was held.

He was born on October 12, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Cecil Beckett and Ora Mae Renfro. Ike was a devoted member of Cherokee Baptist Church. He had a deep love for his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and cherished the time spent with them. He enjoyed fishing, attending family gatherings, talking with others, listening to music, particularly classic rock, reading his Bible, and being lovingly doted on by those closest to him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brother, William Beckett, sisters, Sue, Alice and one infant sister.

Survivors include sister, Grace Anderson, nieces and nephews, Herbie Anderson, Laquia Anderson, Tara Chaney, Cody Ellis, Dakota Ellis, and Cheyanne Sowards, great nieces and nephews, Calvin and Sage Chaney, Indigo Ellis, Noah and Aiden Simpson, and Cindy Harrod.
