Charles Dunsmore Jr., age 90 years, 3 months, and 12 days, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab in Williamsburg, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Friday, November 27, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Hap Strunk officiating. Burial was in the Holloway Cemetery. He was born August 6, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles Dunsmore Sr. and Etta Stephens Dunsmore. Charles worked at Hickman Chevrolet and McCreary Motors until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed gardening, working on cars, tinkering around on different projects, and fly fishing on Rock Creek, where he tied his own flies. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Lena Dunsmore, whom he married September 17, 1949, and an infant son, Charles Dunsmore III. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Wright, and husband, Allen, and Wanda Meadows, and husband, David, three grandchildren, Derrick, Kaitlen, and Tristan, and three great-grandchildren Samantha, Madelyn, and Charlotte.
