Christina Ann Slaven, of Whitley City, age 41 years, 1 month, and 16 days, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 in Parkers Lake, Kentucky. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 1:00pm in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Sexton officiating. Burial was in the Strunk Cemetery on Day Ridge. Christina was born on Wednesday, August 8, 1979 in Oneida, Tennessee to Gary Tucker and Sharon (Corder) Tucker. She was a member at the Day Ridge United Baptist Church, and she enjoyed drawing, arts and crafts, and playing pool. She loved animals, children, and spending time with her beloved family. Christina is survived by a large host of loving family, including: her parents; her husband, Ronald Lee Slaven of Pine Knot; her son, Michael Lee Slaven of Strunk; her daughters, Chelsy Bone of Whitley City, Brittany Elaine Slaven of Marshes Siding; one grandson, Ryan Allen Petrey; and one granddaughter, who has yet to be born. The Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Mrs. Christina Slaven.
