Clora Faye Winchester, age 90 years, and 10 days, formerly of Stearns, Kentucky, widow of James Allen Winchester, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022, at her home in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Graveside services were held Monday, March 14, 2022, in the Stearns Cemetery, with Bro. Hap Strunk officiating. She was born February 29, 1932, in Oneida, Tennessee, to Mack Burchfield and Lizzie Burke Burchfield. Clora enjoyed reading, attending church, and spending time with family. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, James Allen Winchester, brothers, Clyde Burchfield, Milford Burchfield, MacArthur Burchfield, and Charles Burchfield, sisters Mildred Burchfield Dexter, and Virginia Burchfield Bilbrey. Survivors include son, Wayne Allen Winchester, and wife, Barbara, daughter, Janet Jacobs, and husband, Robert, sister, Alma Duvall, and husband, Charles, grandchildren Amanda Allen, and husband, Tyler, Vanessa Fehr, and husband, Rob, and Brandon Jacobs, and wife, Megan, great grandchildren, Claire Allen, James Allen, and Oliver Jacobs. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Clora Faye Winchester.
