Clyde Gary Privett, age 72, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00am at Pleasant Run Memorial Gardens.

He was born July 25, 1953, in Jellico, Tennessee, to the late Clifford Privett and Evelyn Lay Privett. Clyde attended Davis Hill Church of God and lived a life rooted in faith and simple joys. He enjoyed going to church, reading his Bible, watching professional baseball, and spending time browsing flea markets. Clyde worked for 25 years at Hartco Flooring, where he was a dependable and hardworking man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard Privett; half-brother, George Cleamon Privett; and sister, Christine.

He is survived by his son, Coy Clifford Privett (April); his daughter, Tammy Privett; his brother, Charles Privett (Barbara); and his sister, Wanda Taylor (Conley). He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews whom he dearly loved.

Clyde will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
