Connie Swain, age 62 years, 5 months, and 14 days, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Phillips officiating. Burial followed in the Swain Cemetery. She was born Thursday, December 11, 1958 in Somerset, Kentucky to Dee Hill and Betty Combs Hill. She was baptized at the Greenwood Baptist Church at the age of 13 and worked for the McCreary County Sheriff's Office and McCreary County Jail for over 25 years. She enjoyed feeding hummingbirds, reading, plants, and sewing. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, McArthur Swain, and two brothers, Donnie, and Norman. Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Horne, and husband, Joe, and Jennifer Swain, three brothers, Stanley Hill, and wife, Nancy, Curtis Hill, and wife, Tammie, and Ronnie Hill, two sisters, Karen Hatfield, and husband, Lonnie, and Debbie Hill, and husband, Sherman Lawson, seven grandchildren, Siera, Riley, Gavin, Hailey, River, Carra, and Kyndle, and two great grandchildren, Bentley, and Kambreigh. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Connie Swain.
