Coy Lee Stephens, age 72 years, and 10 days, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at V.A. Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Friday, September 10, 2021 in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the East Pine Knot Memorial Gardens. He was born August 25, 1949, to Elmer and Evelyn Stephens. Coy was a disabled Army veteran. He enjoyed listening to music, specifically old country. He also loved watching comedy movies with Jimmy and reading his bible. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his son, James Robert "Jimmy" Stephens, and wife, Angela, a granddaughter, Abigail Stephens, and brothers, John Paul Stephens, and wife, Rose, and Larry Ray Stephens. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Coy Lee Stephens.
