Coy Worley, age 87 years, 11 months, and 16 days, of the Skull Bone Tower community passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at his home and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery.

He was born February 4, 1937 in Cooperative, Kentucky to Henry Worley and Vada Holloway Worley. Coy made his living as water well digger. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and trade things. But he loved having his family and friends around and was well known for the jokes he loved to play on everyone.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Wilda Worley, a son, Tony Worley, son-in-law, Allen Smiddy, brother, Loyd Worley, sisters, Christine Coffey, Rosie Jones, and Juanita, granddaughter, Jennifer Hughes, and grandson, Tony Worley, Jr.

Survivors include sons, Rick Worley and Janet, and Mike Worley, daughters, Debra Worley and Bennie, Linda Boyatt and Curtis, and Tammy Smiddy, brother, Roy Worley and Kay, sister, Ellen Bottoms and Earl, brother-in-law, Maynard Jones, twelve grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.

Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Coy Worley.
