David Allen Hunt, age 67 years, 9 months, and 8 days, of the 3C Road Community, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Walker officiating. Burial was in the Walkers Chapel Cemetery. David retired from the Navy as a E7 Senior Chief Petty Officer after serving for 20 years. He was born on August 4, 1952 to Charles Hunt and Geraldine Walker Hunt. He loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors in general. He was also a member of the Kinne Slaven American Legion Post 115 in Stearns, Kentucky. David is survived by a loving family, which includes: two sons, Josh Hunt, of Williamsburg, and Charles Hunt and wif,e Sarah, of Corbin; one brother Mark Hunt and wife, Michelle, of Versailles, and three grandchildren, Kadence, Gabrielle, and Andrea. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul and Joe Hunt. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of David Hunt.
