Donnie Ray Smith, age 34 years, 10 months, and 11 days, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Private funeral services were held Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was in the Logan Cemetery. He was born November 6, 1986, in Somerset, Kentucky to Donnie Ray Hamilton and Janie Smith Perry. Donnie was a United States Postal Service Mail Contractor and also spent time working as a deputy jailer. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, and spending time with his kids. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Leslie and Ida Hamilton, Lumer and Lola Smith, and his stepfather, Billy Joe Perry. He is survived by his loving wife, Dana Smith, father, Donnie Ray Hamilton, mother, Janie Smith Perry, daughter, Lillie Smith, sons, Bentley, and Daylan Smith, and sisters, Donna Smith, and Laura Smith.
