Douglas "Doug" Corder, age 67 years, 10 months, and 5 days, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, 2021, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Clearview Cemetery. He was born August 31, 1953 in Oneida, Tennessee to Charlie Corder and Wilma Duvall Corder. Doug was a member of the Old Beech Grove United Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and repairing things. Doug loved to cook and was a master griller. Preceding him in death was his mother. Survivors include his wife, Linda Corder, his father, Charlie Corder, a son, Derrick Corder, and wife, Rachel Boillot, a daughter, Angela Corder, and fiancé, Lindell Privett, a brother, Joe Corder, and his wife, Janet, a sister, Janet Stephens, and husband, Gary, two grandchildren, Tierra Upchurch, and Brandon Corder, two great grandchildren, Emma and Ella Upchurch, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Doug Corder.
