Earnie Vaughn, age 58, of Stearns, passed away on July 2nd at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was in the Hickman Cemetery.

Earnie was born in Stearns, to James and JoAnn (Vaughn) Watson, on November 13th, 1965. Earnie always enjoyed being outside, you could find him fishing, building, working on cars, hunting, or spending time with his dogs. Above all Earnie loved his family and spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Ray Watson, his son, Jimmy Vaughn, his brothers, Brian Gibson and Jimmy Vaughn, and his nephew, William Vaughn.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Amanda Vaughn, his son, Brandon Vaughn, his daughter, Jessica Vaughn, his brother, Joseph Vaughn and his wife, Beverly, his nephews, Joe Vaughn Jr., James Ollie Vaughn, Brandon Watters, and his great nieces, Jaile Vaughn, Neveah Vaughn, Chole Vaughn, Brooklynn Vaughn, and Madison Vaughn.
