Eli J Tucker, age 84, of Revelo, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at his home. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Coffey and Bro. Joshua Coffey officiating. Burial was in the Keith-Morrow Cemetery. He was born January 26, 1935 in Nevelsville, Kentucky to Cornelius Tucker and Sarah Morrow Tucker. Eli was a member of the Day Ridge United Baptist Church and has been a construction worker with Eaton Construction before his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions, hiking and being outdoors. But he especially enjoyed family time. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Betty Strunk Tucker, a son, Troy Tucker, a daughter, Virginia Mavity, a grandson, Jonathon Tucker, brothers, Coy Tucker, Jimmie Tucker, and Narvil Tucker, and sisters, Edith Campbell, Ethel Long, and MaryAnn Tharp. Survivors include a daughter, Loretta Coffey and her husband, Stanley, of Lancaster, a son, John Tucker and his wife, Teresa, of Dalton, Georgia, sisters, Regina Saunders and her husband, Tom, of Sidney, Ohio, Charity Smith of Quincy, Ohio, and Frona Standly of Raytown, Missouri, eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Eli Tucker.
