Eric Scott Mann, age 64, of Andalusia, Alabama, formerly of Strunk, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the University of Alabama Palliative Care Unit in Birmingham, Alabama. He was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Graveside services were held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Duncan Carter Cemetery in Strunk, Kentucky with Bro. Willis Troxell officiating.

Born on October 27, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Eric was the son of the late James Mann and Edith Carter Mann. He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy, retiring with the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer after a distinguished military career. Eric was known for his dedication, leadership, and strong sense of duty. He carried those same qualities into every aspect of his life and was deeply devoted to his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith Mann and Larry Mann.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Jill Mann; son, Zachary Mann; daughter, Emily Mann; brother, Michael Mann; sister, Rhonda Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Eric will be remembered for his service, his strength of character, and the love he shared with those around him. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
