Frances Kathleen Morgan, fondly known as Fran, passed away Monday in Oneida, Tennessee and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. The family received friends after 12:00pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery.

Fran was born on June 8th, 1951 to Rev. Chester A. Morgan and Jessie Lee (Swain) Morgan in Oneida, TN. Fran grew up with a deep love for her family. She enjoyed spending time tending her flowers, watching westerns, collecting giraffes, and caring for her dearly loved cat, Ginger. Fran attended Somerset Community College and went to work for Crabtree-Wilson Insurance where she would later retire. Fran was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitley City and enjoyed playing softball.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Chester A. Morgan and Mrs. Jessie Lee (Swain) Morgan, her brother James Arlon Morgan, her niece, Laura Anne Morgan, and her nephew, Phillip Lee Morgan.

She is survived by her brother, Ted Morgan and his wife Patti of Bethesda, MD, her sister Sue Davidson and her husband Earl of Troy, OH, her brother Jim Morgan and his wife Sheila of Hendersonville, TN, and her sister, Breyn Reynolds and her husband David of Hartford, KY, and many nieces and nephews.
