Goldie Strunk, age 105 years, 2 months, and 11 days, of Stearns, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Jean Waddle Hospice Center in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Hilton Duncan officiating. Burial was in the McCreary Memorial Gardens.

She was born August 18, 1917, in the Hill Top Community in Stearns, Kentucky, to Artie Neal and Martha Coffey Neal. Goldie was a member of the Stearns First Baptist Church for over seventy years. She enjoyed reading her bible, sewing, and cooking.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Odia Strunk, son, David Strunk, and wife, Shirley, daughter, Martha Taylor, brothers, Delbert Neal, Jim Neal, and Porter Neal, sisters, Juanita Wyatt, Novela Neal, and Deloris Neal, a grandson, David Allen Strunk, and great grandchild, Dustin Strunk.

Survivors include, grandchildren, Anthony Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Goldie Byrd, and Wynde Walker, and sister, Ruby Neal.
