Hobert Stephens Jr., age 60, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away at his residence on August 12, 2019. Funeral services were Friday, August 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was in the Stephens Family Cemetery in Pine Knot, Kentucky. Hobart was born August 15, 1958 in Whitley City, Kentucky, to Hobert Stephens Sr. and Allie Phillips-Stephens. He was of the Baptist faith. A lot of his time was spent outside fishing and watching birds, and when he wasn't doing either of those two things he was usually found playing video games. Hobert is survived by: his son, Kenneth Stephens; his brothers; David Stephens, Ray Davis, Arnold Davis, Dole Davis; and grandchildren, Dakota, Isabella, and Destiny Stephens.
