Hobert Lee Strunk, age 68 years, 10 months, and 29 days, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Larry Watson officiating. Burial was in the Angel cemetery. He was born August 1, 1948 in Stearns, Kentucky to John Riley Strunk and Nannie Strunk. Hobert was a retired farmer from Tuggle Farms. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. Hobert found pleasure in spending time with his family. Preceding him in death were his parents, and three brothers, DeWitt, Grover and Deanie Strunk. Survivors include his wife, Betty Hill Strunk, of Stearns, Kentucky, three sons, Joey, and his wife Devonna, of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, Hobert Lee Strunk, Jr., and his wife, Teresa, of Georgetown, Illinois, J.J. Strunk, and his wife, Tammy, of Shelbyville, Indiana, two brothers, Johnny Strunk, of Revelo, Kentucky, Charlie Strunk, and his wife, Hazel, of Stearns, Kentucky, three sisters, Karen Strunk, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Bronical Howard, of Whitley City, Kentucky, Sally Watson, of Revelo, Kentucky, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
