Howard Lynch, age 86, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Burial was on the McCrary Memorial Gardens.

He was born October 16, 1939, in Whitley City, Kentucky, to the late Harvey Lynch and Lacy Branscum Lynch. Howard was a retired carpet salesman and sports writer. He had a lifelong love for athletics and especially enjoyed spending his time watching sports.

Preceding him in death were his parents, daughters, Donna Freeman and Shelba Zinn, brother, Grover Lynch, half-brother, Norman Waters, and sister, Elizabeth Boyer.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Lynch, son, Jeff Lynch, brothers, Harold Lynch, Tuley Lynch, and Wilburn Heath, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
