James Harkey II, age 69, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky.

He was born November 25, 1956, in Waco, Texas, to the late James Harkey and Betty. James worked as a truck driver and enjoyed spending his free time riding motorcycles, watching NASCAR, fishing, and shooting guns.

Survivors include his sons, James Theodore Harkey and wife, Heather, and Vincent Harkey; daughters, Casey Kidd and husband, Tyler, Trischa Kennedy, and Katie Shay; and eleven grandchildren.

James will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, but the memories he leaves behind will be cherished by his family and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
