Janice Lee Kidd age 73 years, 10 months, and 8 days, of Smithtown, Kentucky passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Baptist Health of Lexington. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Earl Davis Jr., Bro. Eddie King, and Bro. Mark Sewell officiating. Burial followed in the Angel Cemetery. She was born January 19, 1942 in Co-operative, Kentucky to Joel King and Eula (Roberts) King. Janice was a member of the White Oak Junction United Baptist Church. She enjoyed running around and spending time with her family. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Donald Lee Kidd; and a sister, Judy King. Survivors include her son, Steven Kidd and wife, Joyce; daughters, Renee Kidd, Christi Phillips and husband, Roger, and Heather Yancey and husband, Brian, all of Smithtown, Kentucky; brothers, Noel King and wife, Ella Mae, of Revelo, Kentucky, Gayle King and wife, Florence, of Strunk, Kentucky, and Tommy King and wife, Dianne, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; a sister, Donna Meadows, of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Travis (Tabitha) Kidd, Taylor Phillips, Joslyn Prewitt, and Trey Phillips; great-grandchildren, Ava, Sofiah, Emree, and one on the way; and a special friend whom she loved as her own daughter, Teresa Hughes Bruce. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mrs. Janice Kidd.
