Jerry Wayne Crisp, Born July 23, 1970, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026.

Jerry was born to Irvin Crisp Jr. and Patsy Jones Crisp. He was preceded in death by his father, Irvine Crisp Jr., his baby brother, Barry Crisp, and his grandparents, Irvin Crisp Sr. and Grace and James Oscar and Addie Jones.

Jerry's life was marked by the love he had for his family and those closest to him. He will be remembered for the impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him. Jerry was a Foreman for Davis H. Elliott for 26 years. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held close by his family and friends.

Though his time here feels far too short, his memory will live on through the love he shared and the lives he touched. His Faith was unquestionable and his walk with God lead him to become a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church.

"And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the Greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13

He is survived by his first love, his mother, Patsy Crisp, Stearns, Kentucky, the love of his life, his wife, Kathy Jones Crisp, whom he married February 14, 1997, Stearns, Kentucky. He also leaves behind the children he lovingly welcomed into his life and heart Kristee Sumner (Chad), and Gary Sumner (Linda) both of Stearns, Kentucky, his brother Kevin Crisp (Danielle) of Sidney, Ohio, his niece, Kirstie Crisp (Sam), Jacob Crisp (Jordan), and Anthony Crisp, Great Nephew, Theo Kelzenberg and great niece, Stella Kelzenberg and his greatest joys, his grandchildren, Valerie Jones, Allison Sumner, Gary Christopher Sumner Jr., Joseph Adkins, Jacob Adkins, and Skyller Sumner and his great grandchildren, Oaklyn Grace Genoe, Jocie Rylan Genoe, Tripp Michael Jones, and Isaac Aaron Adkins.

He found joy in the outdoors, especially hunting deer and turkey, and fishing with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren.

Jerry's memory will live on through his loving family and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery.
