Jesse Charles West, age 33, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and was taken into the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Private funeral services were held Monday, April 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Pine Knot Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Myers officiating. He was born December 29, 1986 in Somerset, Kentucky to Carl West and Betty Lou Ross West. Jesse was a trained firefighter and a farmer. He loved spending time with his babies and other family members. He is preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife, Brittany West, his father, Carl West of Pine Knot, sons, Williams Stephens, Jesse Dean West, and Jasper West, a daughter, Elizabeth West all of Whitley City, brothers, Terry West, Allen West and his wife, Tonya, and Carlos West all of Pine Knot, sisters, Glenna Garner and Melinda Ridener and her husband, Thomas both of Pine Knot, and a special aunt, Mildred West of Pine Knot, Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Jesse West.
