Jo Ann Lyons, age 55 years, 4 months, and 29 days, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at her home in Pine Knot, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in the Wilson Maxwell Cemetery. She was born November 8, 1956 in Ohio to Lander Maxwell and Vina Davis Maxwell. Jo Ann was a homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and caring for her family. Preceding her in death were her parents, and her sister, Nancy Maxwell. Survivors include a husband Gary Lyons, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, one son, Kenny Stephens, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky, one step son, Dale Lyons, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, one daughter, Julie Lyons and her husband Michael Lyons Sr., of Revelo, Kentucky, four brothers, Lander Maxwell Jr. (Judge), Jerry Maxwell, Dillard Henry Maxwell, Virgil Maxwell, four sisters, Katherine Maxwell, Ruby Roberts, Beulah Maxwell, Della Duncan, and one grandchild, Michael Wayne Lyons Jr. Condolences may be sent to the family at strunkfh@yahoo.com Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Jo Ann Lyons.
