John C. Pyle, age 76 years, and 24 days passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at his home in Pine Knot, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. In keeping with his wishes cremation was chosen. He was born January 31, 1946, in Oneida, Tennessee to William Lee Pyle and Laura Mae Slaven Pyle. John was a woodsman who loved to fish, hunt, and be outdoors. Preceding him in death were his parents, and sister, Mary Hicks. Survivors include sister, Ruth Ann Pyle, and uncle, Jack Slaven. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of John C. Pyle.
