Johnny Harold Strunk, 53, of the Worley community, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at his home. In keeping with the family's wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was born April 3, 1966 in Scott County, Tennessee to Dewitt Strunk and Myrtle Sammons Strunk. Johnny was a veteran of the Kentucky National Guard and employed by McDonald's. Along with his work, he enjoyed video games and his dogs. He especially loved his family and family gatherings. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Tom Strunk, and a grandchild. Survivors include his son, Johnny Strunk, Jr. and his wife, Abra, of Pine Knot, daughters, Jerrica Smith of Stearns, Tiffany Sparks and her husband, Nicholas, of Pine Knot, and Rose Roberts of Monticello, brothers, Bill Strunk and his wife, Rita, Andrew Strunk and his wife, Robin, Junior Strunk and his wife, Sherri, and Jerry Strunk, a sister, Joan Prewitt, and fourteen grandchildren.
