Joyce Hardwick age 80, of Stearns, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 1, 2023 in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

She was born June 12, 1942, in Co-Operative, Kentucky to Harley and Imogene Hardwick. Joyce attended Davis Hill Church of God. She enjoyed watching game shows, playing bingo, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her father, husband, R.L. Stephens, sons, Billy Dean Stephens, and Ricky Stephens, infant daughter, Terri Stephens, brother, Jimmy Hardwick, and sisters, Diane Dalton, and Judy Dixon.

Survivors include her mother, sons, R.L. Steve Stephens, and wife, Julie, Jim Stephens, and Joe Stephens, daughter, Debbie Dixon, brother, Terry Gene Hardwick, and wife, Tenna, 13 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren.

Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Joyce Hardwick.
