Joyce Marcum, age 80, of Whitley City, mother of Jon "Rocky Marcum and Kent Marcum, passed away September 2, 2026 and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated.

Joyce was born February 5, 1946 to John Carter and Grace Sumner Carter.  She had retired after a long career with Social Services.  Joyce enjoyed singing in church and spending time with her family.
