Judy Casada, age 75 years, 8 months, and 22 days, passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, at her home in Strunk, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Clark officiating. Burial was in the Nancy Grave Cemetery.

She was born February 19, 1948, in Oneida, Tennessee, to Clabe Daugherty and Arlie Boyatt Daugherty. Judy was a member of the First Otter Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing, going fishing and spending time with her grandsons.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands, Delbert Casada, and Obie Slaven, sons, Timothy Clay Slaven, and infant son, Obie Dallas Slaven, brothers, Starling Daugherty, and Verlin "Bud" Daugherty, sisters, Emma Douglas, Dorothy Daugherty, Zella Lee Daugherty, and an infant sister.

Survivors include son, Jason Casada, brother, Stanley Ale Daugherty, sister, Doris Hall, grandchildren, Kyle and Dallas Slaven, and many nieces and nephews.

Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Judy Casada.
