Kathy Carson, age 57 years, 9 months, and 6 days, widow of Kenny Carson, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Services were held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial was Thursday October 21, 2021, in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

She was born January 10, 1964, in Parkers Lake, Kentucky to Clyde Tucker and Gladys Keith Tucker. Kathy was a member of the Walkers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, going to Gatlinburg, crafts, lawn work, gardening, but spending time with her grandchildren brought her the most joy.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Kenny Carson, brothers, Eddie Tucker, Larry Tucker, and Melvin Tucker, and sister, Margaret Tucker.

Survivors include her son, Kenny Nathaniel Carson, and wife, Whitney, daughter, Amanda Dugger, and husband, Randall, brothers, C.J. Tucker, and wife, Patsy, Roger Tucker, and wife, Linda, Willard Tucker, and wife, Cathy, and Rick Tucker, and wife, Shonda, sisters, Janice Jones, and husband, Dave, and Judy Ball, and husband, Bennie, grandchildren, Kennedy Carson, Abram Carson, and Mattis Dugger, and a special nephew, Travis Tucker, who helped care for her.
