Kenneth Lee Tucker, age 62 years, 2 months, and 27 days, of the Day Ridge community passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Whitehead and Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating. Burial was in the Strunk-Tucker Cemetery. He was born March 6, 1955 in Somerset, Kentucky to Albert Tucker and Dorothy New Tucker. Kenneth was a retired auto mechanic who could build and repair most everything. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, restoring old cars, and growing things in his vegetable and flower gardens. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Alvin Tucker, and sisters, Shirley Sexton and Cherry Lynn Tucker. Survivors include his wife, Diane Tucker, daughters, Brandie Perry and her husband, Charles, of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Amanda Baird and her husband, Joshua, of Somerset, Kentucky, brothers, Carl Dean Tucker and his wife, Shirley Mae, Lester Tucker and his wife, Linda, Gary Tucker and his wife, Sharon, and Mickey Tucker, all of Whitley City, Kentucky, sister, Cleda Howard of Jefferson, Georgia, grandchildren, Dillon, Brandon, Tavvie, Alexis, Cameron, Bailey, and Mason.
