Larry Dale Ball age 47 years, 9 months, and 22 days of Strunk, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Continued Care Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. David Troxell officiating. Burial followed in the Flat Rock Cemetery. He was born July 9, 1967 in Flat Rock, Kentucky to Clarence Ball and Zelma (Flynn) Ball. Larry was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Fork Lift operator for McCreary Hardwoods. Larry enjoyed driving, four-wheeling, and racecars. He was a vivid outdoorsman who also enjoyed camping and fishing. But above all Larry loved spending time with his family and his grandbabies. Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Ronnie Ball. Survivors include his daughters, Cortney Ryan and husband, Kenton, of Strunk, Kentucky and Whitney Ball of Whitley City, Kentucky; grandchildren, Madison and Trenton Ryan; brothers, Clarence Ball, Jr. and Chris Ball, both of Pine Knot, Kentucky; sisters, Carol Blakley, Vivian Humphrey, Elsie Dick, Brenda Hughes, and Wencie Trammell, all of Pine Knot, Kentucky; his significant other, Trish Creekmore and her children who he loved as his own, Christian Anderson and Courtney Stephens, all of Winfield, Tennessee; and the mother of his children, Kassy Grubb, of Whitley City, Kentucky. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home served the family of Mr. Larry Ball.
