Larry Dale Sims, 61, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center. He was born in Tennessee on July 11, 1955, to Mary (Julian) Harris and the late William Sams. He was a United States Army Veteran and previously worked as a machinist for General Electric. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Joey Sams; two brothers, Alan (Kathy) Sams and Steven Sams; sister, Karen Sams; two step brothers, Chris (Jamie) Harris and Mitchell (Shelley) Harris; uncle, Ronnie Brooks; fiance', Debbie McConnell; special niece, Elaine Davis; several friends and family members. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at the Carter Cemetery.
