Larry Dale "L.D." Trammell, formerly of Pine Knot, passed away Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at his home in Felicity, OH, at the age of 70, and was placed into the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life was held on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024 at 1:00pm at East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God.

Larry was born on February 4th, 1954 to William "Bill" Trammell and Louvena Trammell in Jellico, Tn. In some circles Larry was known as "Mr. Pine Knot." He loved to trade horses, farming, and was a skilled auctioneer. Larry enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with those around him. He was known to never meet a stranger and was a legend around horse sales, always making folks laugh. If he wasn't on a horse, trading a horse, or tending to the farm, you could find him fishing or spending time with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sheila (Bryant) Trammell, his brothers, William "Little Bill" Trammell, Jr, Cecil Trammell, Bob Trammell, and Ralph Trammell, and two sisters, Imogene Strunk, and Lois June Creekmore.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Trammell Fischer and her husband Doug, his son Randy Trammell and his wife Alison, his sisters, Betty Lou Perry, Jewel Dean Cobb, Carol Edna Meadors and her husband Marvin, Norma Meadors and her husband Ray, Doris Faye Stephens and her husband John A., and, and three grandchildren, Hayden, Sarah, and Brooke.

Anyone who ever met Larry Dale has a Larry Dale story, he was quite the character, and will be often remembered.
