Lena Faye Barnett, age 65 years, 9 months, and 9 days, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at her home in Stearns, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. David Walker officiating. Burial was in the Higgenbotham Cemetery. She was born August 29, 1951 in McCreary County, Kentucky to Harvey Watson, Sr. and Burnettie Smith Watson. Lena retired from McCreary Mfg. Textiles and attended Beech Grove Baptist Church. she found pleasure gardening and spending time with her family and pets. Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Charlie Watson, three sisters, Nancy Watson, Bertha Watson and Cloteen Dolen. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Barnett, of Stearns, Kentucky, three sons, Loren Barnett, and his wife, Jean of Oneida, Tennessee, Bobby Barnett, and his wife, Stefani, of Stanton, Kentucky, Mike Barnett, of Stearns, Kentucky. one daughter, Carla Coffey, and her husband Johnny, of Stearns, Kentucky, four brothers, Sullivan Watson, Harvey Watson Jr. and his wife, Mary, LeRoy Watson, and his wife Rebecca, and Kenny Watson and his wife, Dorsalene, two sisters, Joyce Ross, Reda Miller and her husband David, four grandchildren, Amber, Brandy, Conner Lee, Carlena Bernettie Faith.
