Linda McMullan Moncrief, passed away June 4, 2025 at the age of 77.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 12 2025 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, Whitley City with Bro. Bo Rowe officiating.. Burial was in the Stearns Cemetery.

Linda was born December 13, 1947 in Kilgore Texas. She spent her childhood in Louisiana and then eventually moved to Kentucky in 1978.

Linda was an avid member of a number of churches, her most recent church being First Baptist Church of Whitley City. Within her church she played a major role in women's ministries and event coordination. She had a passion for helping with couples ministries as well as aiding young mothers within her church and community. In addition, she also had a love for pouring God's word into young women. Besides her community work, Linda participated in prayer ministries throughout the majority of her life.

Linda also had a special interest in creative endeavors including oil painting, sewing, and cooking. Additionally, she was an advocate for helping speak out for Down syndrome awareness and primarily spoke out for Down Syndrome children.
