Linda L. Shoopman Slaven, age 79, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026 in Florida.

She was born May 10, 1947, to the late Donald Shoopman and Hattie (Tucker) Shoopman.

Preceding her in death were her parents and siblings, Raymond Shoopman, June (Ken) Stephens, Tommy (Fay) Shoopman, Don (Velma) Shoopman, Shirley (Noble) Ross, and Nedra (Larry) Duysen.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Slaven; son, Tommy Slaven; grandchild, Chris (Shannon); great-grandchildren, Deziray and Kristina; the father of her children, George Slaven; sister, Donna (Sam) Strunk; and sister-in-law, Ann Shoopman.

The passing of Linda is mourned by all who knew and loved her, but we know she leaves many precious memories behind that will be cherished by her family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen and no services are planned.
