Lois S. Walker, age 80, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Lexington, Kentucky, Funeral services were held Monday, December 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Walker's Chapel Cemetery. Lois was born September 8, 1936 in Petersburg, Virginia to Daniel T. Jones, Sr. and Eleanor Turner Jones. She was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky and had been an administrative assistant with the Pulaski County Health Department before her retirement. She enjoyed studying her bible, gardening, playing cards, and doing crossword puzzles. She also loved spending time with her friends and was known for being helpful to everyone. Survivors include her children, Phillip Walker and wife, Loni, of Richardson, Texas and Allyson Bassett and husband, Todd, of Lexington, Kentucky, grandchildren, Zain and Aiden Walker, former husband, Paul Walker of Whitley City, Kentucky, brother, Gordon L. Jones of California, and sister, Shirley Taylor of Hopewell, Viginia.
