Lorena Sexton Phillips, age 92, of the Paint Rock Community, departed this life on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Baptist Health of Corbin, KY.. She was born March 12, 1927 in Paint Rock, Tennessee to the late Everett Sexton and Clona Laxton Sexton. She was a faithful member of Paint Rock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Frank Phillips; daughter, Judy Phillips; grandson, Bradley Phillips; brother, John Roy Sexton; sister, Arthona Coffey; nephews, James Elbert Coffey, Bobby Sexton and Tony Coffey; aunts, Artha Sexton and Opha Sexton; father and mother-in-law, James and Elsie Phillips. She is survived by her children, Ronnie Lee Phillips and wife Carol, Shirlene Phillips Sexton and husband Delbert, Kevin Ree Phillips and wife Wendy; grandchildren, Katina, Michael, Heather, Stacy, Ginger, Brant and Reanne; numerous great grandchildren; brother, LouNova Sexton and wife Louise; sister, Eunice Mae Cotton; special friends, Michael and Betty Lowe; several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M., until time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Dean Barnes and Bro. Danny Jenkins officiating. Music will be provided by the Paint Rock Baptist Church Choir and David Walker. Burial will follow in the Sexton Memorial Cemetery in the Paint Rock Community.
