Margie Ann Strunk, age 62, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, in Corbin, Kentucky.

She was born May 16, 1964, in Tennessee to the late Theodore Sexton and Violet (Lawson) Sexton.

Margie was a member of Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church and a devoted Christian woman. She had a kind and caring heart and never met a stranger. Margie truly enjoyed meeting people and helping others whenever she could. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Theodore Dwayne Strunk and David Lee Strunk, and one daughter, Crystal Gayle Sexton.

Survivors include her husband, Emby "Pete" Strunk; son, Kevin James Strunk; brother, Terry Sexton and wife Darla; sister, Wanda Smith; and grandchild, Tevin Ryker Strunk.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed at Angel Cemetery.

Margie will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
