Martha Maxine Perry, aged 93 years, 5 months, and 29 days, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Barren County Nursing and Rehab Center in Glasgow, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Meadows and Bro. Ralph Creekmore officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery. Martha was born in Shoopman, Kentucky to Richmond Keith and Lola (Morrow) Keith on April 15, 1926. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Pleasant Rock United Baptist Church in Smithtown, Kentucky, just a few miles from the home Martha and Tom made in Stearns. Martha enjoyed making quilts, gardening, fishing, and most importantly, spending time with her beloved family. Preceding her in death are: her husband, Tom Perry, whom she married on January 6, 1945; her parents, Richmond and Lola Keith; and seven brothers and sisters. Martha is survived by a large host of family, which includes: her two sons, Charles Perry and his wife, Nancy, of Tiffin, Ohio, David Perry and his wife, Teresa, of Frankfort, Kentucky; two daughters, Marsha Creekmore and her husband, Ralph, of Glasgow, Kentucky, Phyllis Meadows and her husband, Randall, of Stearns, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
