Martin K. "Marty" Butler, age 66 years, 3 months, and 1 day, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at his home in Elkhart, Indiana. In accordance with Marty's wishes, cremation was chosen, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date in Stearns, Kentucky. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky, August 12, 1951, to the late Henry and Roxie (Martin) Butler. Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Maudlin Butler, whom he married June 30, 1972, a daughter, Tracy (Scott) Tibbetts, brothers, Bruce (Brenda) Butler, Rodney Butler and Bob Butler, sisters, Shelby West, Janice Garland and Vickie (Mike) Cash, grandson, Sawyer Tibbetts, and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Marty's passions in life included his family, especially his beloved grandson, listening to music and photography. Memorial donations may be given to the United Cancer Society.
