Melissa Crabtree, age 78 years, 9 months, and 9 days, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at her home in Revelo, and was placed in the care of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 11, 2022, in the chapel of the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Strunk Cemetery.

She was born February 28, 1944 in Parkers Lake to Henry Tucker, Sr. and Florence New Tucker. Melissa had worked LeSportsac before her retirement and was a member of the Day Ridge United Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking drives to see the scenery and attending church services. But she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Lonzo Tucker, Albert Tucker, and Noah Tucker, and sisters, Pearlie Phillis, Wilma Jean Tucker, Zella Tucker, and Anna Sickler.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Crabtree, whom she married March 23, 2001, brothers, Henry Tucker, Jr. and Joe Tucker, and many other relatives and friends
