Michael Duane Kidd, 62, departed this life on June 10, 2026 in Somerset, Kentucky and was placed in the care of Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. He was born June 25, 1963 to the late Doris Jean Kidd Reagan.

Graveside funeral services were held Monday, June 15, 2026 at 11:00 am in the Angel Cemetery.

Michael was a man of many talents and passions, best known for his tinkering under the hood. He had an innate ability for problem-solving, often spending countless hours bringing life back to engines and piecing together a jeep. He found freedom in wandering the paths and waterbeds in a jeep.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Madie (Vanover) Kidd, who lovingly raised him as their own; uncles,

Jerry "Pud" Kidd, Bob Kidd, and Don Hill; aunt, Betty Lee; brother, Tim Kidd; and stepfather, Fred Reagan

He is survived by his son, Zane Kidd; stepson, Zachary Daniels; brother, Gary Kidd and wife, Teresa; sisters, Sandra Trammell and Crystal Taylor and husband, Michael; stepbrother, Todd Reagan; stepsister, Lisa Richmond; aunts, Sue Hill, Judy Dykes, and Gayle Kidd; along with many other relatives and friends who mourn his passing and will cherish his memory.
